VOLUNTEER WITH VC CARES

(f.l.t.r): Kaitlyn Reddy (3rd year IIE Bachelors in Intermediate Phase Education) and Kaelly Berkovitz (3rd year IIE Bachelor of Commerce in Economics) interacting with children from the Christine Revell Children's Home during The IIE’s Varsity College Cape Town’s recent Volunteer with VC Cares (student volunteer body) event. The children enjoyed face painting, colouring in, making butterflies and a jumping castle. RocoMamas burgers at lunchtime, ice lollies and cupcakes rounded the day off. The event showcased how students can get involved with community engagement on campus. VC Cares does rewarding work that helps students grow as individuals and become socially aware citizens, empowering them and those they help.Said Megan Landman Head Student Services The IIE’s Varsity College Cape Town: “The VC Cares Committee gives members the opportunity to lead current and new students in a range of initiatives that include fundraising, awareness drives and outreach programmes.
