Trivikrama Maistry (IIE BCom Law 3rd Year) dons his red shirt with a SANBS team member for the recent SANBS Blood Bank at The IIE’s Varsity College Pietermaritzburg to show is support. Expectations were exceeded when more than 70 students and staff members donated blood. With less than 1% of South Africans currently signed up as blood donors, there is a massive shortage and The IIE’s Varsity College is looking to change that statistic, one donor at a time. Every unit of blood donated can save a minimum of 3 lives.
