The Pretoria campus entered 7 student and 6 staff teams.Said Carole Adam, National Sports Manager The IIE’s Varsity College: “The VC Lockdown Virtual Relay was the first real opportunity for our students to “connect” back into the VC Sports space. We decided on a dress-up themed relay since it encourages team work and gave the students a chance, even though virtually, to be part of a team and participate in an event with their fellow students. Our sports life ethos has always been about creating a healthy balance, so I am thrilled with over 59 student team entries for our 1st event as it feels like we’re getting back on track.”
